Health cash plan boosts P&O’s benefits package
One of Europe's leading supply chain and logistics experts, P&O Ferry Masters, has invested in a health cash plan to boost its employee benefits package.
The logistics and freight forward specialists, which has a base in Newport, has signed-up 26 employees to Gwent Hospitals Contributory Fund’s health cash plan.
Business development manager at GHCF, Patrick Ibeziako, said: “We’re really excited to be working with P&O as they are a well established company known across Europe. As the country is forced to cut back, businesses are realising that they still need to invest in their staff and a health cash plan is a cheaper alternative to private medical insurance to reward employees and boost their benefits package.”
Employees were also given the opportunity to upgrade their package and add partners to the scheme.
A health cash plan allows members to claim cash for medical procedures including dental and optical.
