Gwent Hospitals Contributory Fund forms strategic partnership with south Wales will writing firm

23rd August 2011

Health cash plan provider, Gwent Hospitals Contributory Fund (GHCF), has become a strategic partner of a Llanelli and Brecon based professional will writers firm, Phoenix Cymru.

GHCF provides bespoke health cash plans for businesses and individuals, offering a low cost alternative to private medical insurance and cash back on medical procedures such as dental and optical care.

Phoenix provides a will writing service as well as financial advisory and wealth management services, enabling clients to benefit from impartial advice on how best to manage their assets, whatever their value.

The two companies will work in partnership to promote each other’s services to their client bases and act as referrers for new business. Under the new scheme, Phoenix Professional Will Writers will refer Gwent Hospitals Contributory Fund to its business clients as a health benefit they can make available to their staff. The health cash plans costs from £5 a month per employee.

Speaking of the new partnership, chief executive at GHCF, Andy Wilkins, said: “Offering a health package as a staff benefit can be a cost effective way of boosting motivation in the team, addressing the problems of sickness and absence, and improve staff retention.

“Phoenix works with many employers who want to provide a will writing service as an additional benefit to staff who want peace of mind that they are effectively managing their estate. Our partnership with Phoenix will allow us to reach a potential client base of employers in west Wales, spread our geographical reach and introduce our clients to their services. We are looking forward to working closely with them.”
